Thoughts
I'm new at this, but let's get started anyways.
Hello,
I’m happy to have the chance to speak with you for a few moments. Thank you for being willing enough to even read this.
The Secret Waterfall animation has been seen by friends both new and old, and it warms my heart to think of that something I created can be shared with people across the world, it’s a wonderful time to be alive. That being said, I have made the opportunity for this Tale to be purchased. If watching it via YouTube, or reading the pdf isn’t enough here is the link in which you can find the book.
Outdoor Boys and the next project?

Work has already begun on the next Tale of Zac & Will. I have begun writing and have gotten about 1/3rd of it completed already. However. This past week, Luke from the Outdoor Boys YouTube Channel announced this last Saturday (5/17/2025) that he was done posting videos for a while.
Now what does that have to do with me and my Tales with Zac & Will? That’s an interesting question.
I don’t know Luke, but I have been a fan of his videos for a couple of years. Not just because I love the outdoors and love to see where he goes. It’s because he is a Father, and it’s easy to see in his videos how much his wife and children mean to him. He provides, cooks, protects, and jokes with his family. They are the core of everything he does, its for that very reason that he is pausing on the success he has with his channel.
For me, I am trying to be a Father like Luke, and seeing this kind of Father in the mainstream media is not something that is common place. Homer Simpson is the perfect example of every basic father depicted in shows, movies, and television now. Where the dad is an idiot, out of touch with his family, a pig, lazy, and more problematic than the family dog.
Luke represents what Fatherhood can be, should be, and for that it felt like I had someone I could relate to, and connect to. It was this announcement that made me rethink of what I had been writing so far with Zac & Will, and perhaps it was time that I make a change and do something similar in the stories I’m telling. At this current time, I don’t know what that is yet, however, I can’t deny that Fatherhood should be shown in the correct spotlight, of loving, strong, dependable, and supportive.
Zac and Will are moving

If you are here, reading this then you may know that I have created a new YouTube channel dedicated to just Zac and Will.
I have many stories to tell, and the creative process is a time consuming thing. New characters like Moth Man, Jackalope, and in the latest book I’m working, a Banshee named Solas. It’s really exciting and it just made sense for people that find Zac and Will’s channel to not have to be confused on what kind of channel that my current channel houses them.
The plan years ago was just showcasing my various works on that one channel, at the time Zac wasn’t even an idea yet, and so going forward, the Zac+Will YouTube channel is where they will be found, along with any YouTube shorts of me creating and news.
That’s all I can think of with this newsletter. Thank you again for spending time with me to geek out over Zac and Will. If you have any questions let me know.
Warm regards,
John
